Dr. Christina Rahm debuted her new cookbook “Cure the Causes” during a meet-and-greet at the Plain-T headquarters in Southampton. Hosted by Plain-T and Heritage Brazil, in collab with Hamptons BossMoms, Dr. Christina was able to shed more light on the importance of prevention through mindfulness and nutrition.
“As someone who has suffered from Cancer and Lyme disease, I wanted to make something that you could do at home that’s natural – that would be a starting point. People do not realize that your body is its own city and it’s so important to make sure you are getting the right nutrients into your body through recipes you can make at home,” Rahm shared.
Attendees at the Plain-T event got to try some of the featured recipes in the “Cure the Causes” cookbook, such as the Veggie Burger, Citrus Orange and Radish salad, Stuffed Cucumbers, Deviled Eggs, and more by Chef Rita Copeland. In addition to the tasting and book signing, guests took home a goodie bag with special cosmetic products from “The Root Brands” and coffee beans from Rahm Roast.
