This first outdoor concert of the Parrish Art Museum’s Live Jazz on the Terrace is presented in collaboration with Hamptons Jazz Fest and the SmallsLive Foundation.
Jazz veteran Joe Farnsworth will perform live at the Parrish, presenting the program Time to Swing with up-and-coming sax player Sarah Hanahan on Friday, July 7 at 6:30 PM.
One of the most highly regarded jazz drummers today, Joe Farnsworth is known for his blazing speed, precision, and musical and melodic style. Throughout his career, he has performed in jazz festivals and world tours with Pharoah Sanders, Horace Silver, McCoy Tyner, Cedar Walton, George Coleman, and Johnny Griffin, among others.
