On Saturday, August 16, at 8 PM, Tony Award-nominated Broadway actress, singer and writer Melissa Errico and acclaimed actor Alec Baldwin bring to life “The Fitzgeralds: A Reading with Music” — a dramatic new staging inspired by the real-life letters of Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, presented at Guild Hall in East Hampton in celebration of the 100th anniversary of The Great Gatsby.
Directed by Stephen Hamilton, this compelling performance centers on the extraordinary correspondence between F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, revealing the ambition, artistry, and emotional intensity that defined their iconic relationship. With an evocative live original score by composer Forrest Gray, “The Fitzgeralds” offers a deeply moving exploration of the lives behind one of America’s greatest literary legacies.
