East End Dining News: Thanksgiving Offerings

Highway Restaurant

At Highway Restaurant in East Hampton, guests can make reservations for Thanksgiving dining two weeks ahead of the holiday, with specials released day-of. For desert on-the-go, Highway is providing its Milk Pail Apple Pie. And for those interested in private dining, Highway offers private chefs for hire with a special Thanksgiving Menu, compiled with traditional and seasonal offerings.

North Fork Table & Inn & Southold General

North Fork Table & Inn has launched the pre-order for its Thanksgiving Larder, meant to be enjoyed at home, with meals for four or eight people. Meals can be picked up from the restaurant on November 24 and 25. Menu items include a carved roasted turkey, stuffed mushrooms, smoked sourdough, and butternut squash bisque. Additionally, just down the street, John Fraser’s new general store, Southold General, will be offering an “Everything but the Turkey” a la carte menu, along with delicious pies by acclaimed Pastry Chef François Payard, available on Wednesday, November 24. A few notable menu items include spiced nuts, sage gravy, and smoked salmon mousse. Pies that will be available include apple crumb with caramel, pecan with mascarpone cream, caramel and bourbon and pumpkin with marshmallow, orange blossom and fennel pollen. Townline BBQ

Townline BBQ is offering delicious options to-go for Thanksgiving. Pick up a smoked natural turkey with a quart of smoked turkey apple cider gravy for $155. It serves 12 to 14. Several sides are also available including collard greens, corn bread, roasted sweet potato casserole with brown sugar crumble, orange cinnamon cranberry sauce, and Townline classic mac & cheese.

All orders must be placed by November 17 and pick up is on November 24 between 1:30 and 5 PM. Call 631- 537-BBQ1 to place an order.

Elaia Estiatorio

Elaia Estiatorio in Bridgehampton is offering a Thanksgiving Catering Menu of seasonal holiday dishes with a Greek twist, including kolokithokeftedes (seasonal butternut squash fritters) and pumpkin pistachio (pumpkin, lamb and beef minced meat). Guests must call in orders by Tuesday, November 16 for pick-up on Wednesday, November 24. Half trays serve eight to 10 people and full trays serve 16 to 20 people.

Elaia is also currently offering a prix fixe menu of $39, which includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert.
