The highly acclaimed Hampton Designer Showhouse will return this fall to Southampton with a one-of-a-kind historic restoration presented by HC&G. For the past 21 years, The Hampton Designer Showhouse has been the showcase for some of America’s premier design talent and has raised nearly $2 million for Stony Brook Southampton Hospital over the years.
“We are very excited to work with Hampton Designer Showhouse Foundation again on the annual Hampton Designer Showhouse,” said Robert Chaloner, Chief Administrative Officer of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. “Not only will the Showhouse be back for in-person visits, but also the Showhouse will be located in the Village of Southampton in a beautiful historic home. We look forward to hosting a most exciting Showhouse this September 2021.”
The Hampton Designer Showhouse, with renowned designers Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton as the Honorary Design Chairs, will feature more than 20 top interior designers from the Hamptons, New York City, and nationwide.
The designers have transformed the magnificent, historic Hampton House from the 1850s into a decorating modern masterpiece. Originally part of the Wooley Estate, the historic house is designated a contributing resource to the Village, and as such, will feature the original 1835 front porch design complete with Italianate brackets and swan spirals. While adhering to the strict façade guidelines, the renovation will also include over 7,000 sq feet of living space, plus multiple outdoor spaces, an expansive pool and free-standing pool house. The home is provided by Jason Khan and Juan Londono with Audrey Gruss serving as the Honorary Preview Party Chair.
“Showhouses are always exciting and inspiring,” said HC&G Editorial Director Kendell Cronstrom, “but I’m especially excited about this one because of the historic-preservation component. Parts of the house date from the 1830s, and the entire structure has undergone a sensitive renovation and expansion, which adds another layer of challenge to our extremely talented group of designers.”
Participating designers include Alexa Hampton for Woodard, Amy Heywood Art, ASH Staging, Arthur Golabek Flowers, Avery Frank Designs, BP2 Interiors for OKA, Brady Design, Inc., Ciuffo Cabinetry, Courtney Sempliner Designs, Extreme AVS Inc., Ghislaine Viñas, Jennifer Pacca Interiors, Jim Dove/Dove Design Studio, Kate Singer Home, Katherine Elizabeth Designs, Kerri Pilchik Design, Libby Langdon Interiors, Lucy Cuneo Lifestyle, Melanie Roy Design for Todd Merrill Studio, Michel Smith Boyd with Design Within Reach, The Rinfret Group, Scott Formby Design, Sea Green Designs, and The Warehouse Interiors.
