EAST END JAZZ PRESENTS: “AN EVENING OF THE ROARING TWENTIES” AT EAST QUOGUE VILLAGE GREEN

EAST QUOGUE, NY — East End Jazz, in partnership with hosts East Quogue Civic Association, East Quogue Chamber of Commerce, and Southampton Town, invites the community to step back in time for a special outdoor performance: “An Evening of the Roaring Twenties.” Taking place on Tuesday, July 28th at 7:00 PM at East Quogue Park (Rain Date: August 11th), this concert offers a vibrant homage to the timeless sounds and glamour of the 1920s under the stars.

“The Roaring Twenties captured a spark of pure joy, and we can’t wait to bring that unforgettable magic of jazz directly to our community!” says Iris Ornig, Director of East End Jazz.

The evening will feature imaginative arrangements of all the major hits from the Twenties, including “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “It Had to Be You,” “Sweet Georgia Brown,” “Bye Bye Blackbird,” and many more.

The performance brings together a stellar lineup of talent: Vanessa Trouble – Vocals, Deanna Kirk – Vocals, Davide Sgarra – Clarinet & Saxophone, Nick Demopoulos – Guitar, Iris Ornig – Bass, Brian Woodruff –  Drums

This all-ages, multi-generational event is open to the entire community. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic basket, grab a beach chair or blanket, and enjoy an evening of live music, rhythm, and dancing on the lawn. Guests are also warmly invited to dress up in their favorite 1920s attire—flapper dresses, newsboy caps, fedoras, or suspenders—to add to the festive atmosphere!
