Free Family Fun: 26th Annual Long Pond Greenbelt Celebration
Saturday, October 11 – . 10 A.M.-1 P.M. Enjoy nature-themed games and crafts, guided walks, interactive nature displays, and a host of other activities presented by a local environmental and community organizations. Have your face painted by Fun4Faces, and indulge in ice cream at noon. Join us in Vineyard Field, behind the SOFO Museum at 377 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike—rain or shine. Participating organizations include: Bridgehampton Museum, Children’s Museum of the East End, Dawgpatch Bandits, Group for the East End, Hampton Library, John Jermain Library, Peconic Baykeeper, Peconic Estuary Program, Peconic Land Trust, Perfect Earth Project, Quality Parks, South Fork Natural History Museum, Southampton Trails Preservation Society /Horses on Trails, Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons, and The Artist’s Nest.
