Women’s Art Center of the Hamptons and Bella Neyman, jewelry curator and founder of NYC Jewelry Week, are proud to present “Immediate Connections” a jewelry exhibition featuring the work of Birabiro, Oblik Atelier, and MPR Jewelry on view from July 18-21, 2024.

Using the drawn line as the foundation for their creations, these three jewelers handcraft their pieces with meticulous care. They produce unique or small limited-edition wearable, sculptural jewelry that is suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions. Their innovative use of wire showcases their ability to transform hard materials into soft, organic shapes.

MPR utilizes signature nylon-coated stainless steel cable wire, blending it with sterling silver, 14k gold fill, and semi-precious stones. Oblik Atelier folds and forms brass and sterling silver wire, while Birabiro works with a variety of materials, including sterling silver and brass wire and semi-precious stones. Each jeweler's distinct approach exemplifies how they masterfully manipulate these materials, bending them to their creative vision.

The four-day selling exhibition will be enhanced by a series of talks and events. On Thursday, July 18 WACH will host an opening reception at 5pm, in conjunction with the one-year anniversary of Stella Flame Gallery at 2385 Main St., Bridgehampton, NY. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 19-21 will also feature Artist Talks and happenings, with a conversation hosted by Bella Neyman on Friday, July 19th; a Happy Hour Hang on Saturday, July 20th, and a Brunch and Learn on Sunday, July 21st.
