Your mom’s favorite rock band is coming to The Stephen Talkhouse.

My Mom Is Here—formed by Columbia University alums Sam Seiff (vocals), Nick Sare (keys), Ryan Daar (bass), Aidan Speckhard (drums), and Stephen Park (guitar)—has been selling out iconic NYC venues like Baby’s All Right, Nublu, and Mercury Lounge. They recently opened for Philly brass juggernaut Snacktime and hit the road on their first national tour this August.

The band brings their debut EP Baby Steps to the Hamptons, a collection that stretches from the bittersweet acoustic single “You Just Won’t Give Me Love” to the sci-fi funk romp “Take Me To Your Leader,” complete with a music video starring Seiff’s real-life grandma. Expect a high-energy, heartfelt set that blends nostalgic mashups with inventive originals—fusion that’s as clever as it is catchy.
