Come honor and celebrate the 250^th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution (1775!) here at the Whaling Museum on SATURDAY, MAY 24^th, 10am-4pm, when our museum will be invaded by a host of Revolutionary War reenactors - - soldiers (both American and British), complete with wives and other camp followers - - all dressed in period clothing.  Featuring members of the 3^rd New York (Long Island’s premier reenactment group), there will be demonstrations of drill and the firing of muskets throughout the day.
