Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum Exhibit: The Way We Were
Sag Harbor Village
Organized by
Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum
The Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum is proud to present an exhibit of over thirty photographs by local resident Mel Jackson, capturing the people and places we know and love during the mid-1950s… a time of malt shops and bomb shelters, of rock-and-roll and cars with fins, of John Wayne and Marilyn Monroe – and President Dwight D. Eisenhower keeping a watchful eye on it all.
Come visit and see – The Way We Were!
The exhibit opens May 1
The museum will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, 10:00 – 4:30 (last entry at 4:00)
Admission for adults is $8, seniors $6, children (4-12) $3.
Located at 200 Main Street, Sag Harbor.
