CELEBRITY FAVORITE, SUSHI | BAR, LANDS IN MONTAUK FOR FIVE-DAY SUMMER POP UP AT MORTY’S OYSTER STAND 

WHAT: 

The popular omakase-style, speakeasy concept that opened to fanfare in Austin, Texas in 2020, and was named one of Miami’s hottest new restaurants upon opening in the Esmé Miami Beach Hotel, Florida in 2022 will be landing in the Hamptons for a five-day pop-up in Montauk.  Every location of Sushi | Bar is designed to transport diners with a sexy, mysterious allure that fades into a friendly, intimate experience between chef and guest.

Each evening, will welcome 28 guests total - 14 guests per seating - to enjoy a 17-course omakase experience. The menu at Sushi | Bar changes often, but is steadfast in showcasing the freshest fish sourced and flown in weekly via some of the best markets in the world, including Japan, Australia, and California. Signatures include Aged Bluefin Akami with dehydrated red miso and everything bagel spice; Hokkaido Scallop with white truffle salt, shaved black truffle and truffle caviar; and Kanpachi with pineapple, passionfruit, shishito vinaigrette and shaved coconut.

Nightly diners will be offered a selection of available drink pairings, including sake, cocktails, wine, and beer. Guests are encouraged to arrive 30-minutes before their designated seating and enjoy a welcome cocktail to ease their way into Chef’s playful take on nigiri and other delicacies.

Wenzel is also a co-founder of the meditation app for kids, DreamyKid, and the Hamptons social media agency, TWM Hamptons Social Media.
