Twilight Rewind Dance Party Benefit At Common Ground East featuring DJ Riz
The Twilight REWIND Dance Party series has been a monthly celebration of nostalgic dance music at Common Ground East in Southampton. Created for people who love to dance, but not going out at 11pm; this early dance party attracts people of all ages. This Thursday will be the last event of the season, and a special one featuring DJ Riz – a true legend of the golden era of hip-hop, R&B, funk & soul -the sounds that defined ’90s and 2000s nightlife. From NYC’s legendary clubs to some of the most influential rooms in music, he’s spent decades making music. Most known for his biggest hit, Be Faithful, created alongside Sizzahandz as half of the production duo Crooklyn Clan.
A portion of all proceeds will go towards beloved Hamptons DJ Chris Bachmann’s recovery. Chris Bachmann is a longtime DJ, music, and production manager, and fixture of the Hamptons nightlife community. Known for his musical instincts, infectious energy, and genuine connection with the people around him, Chris has spent years creating the soundtrack to countless summers and celebrations.
A recent unexpected stroke and heart attack completely changed life for him and his family, also derailing his career. He is focused on recovery to return to the work he loves. Anyone who knows him knows that he is a kind, caring, funny and generous person who has always been there for others.
