Tuesday, October 14

Playground Playgroup

3 to 4:30 p.m.

$15 members / $35 non-members

Shake those sillies out at CMEE after school. Get outside, play, run, and connect. Kids will enjoy free play on the playground followed by a snack and storytime during this afterschool, outdoor time!

Sensory Play

10 to 11 a.m.

Explore taste-safe materials and other exciting mediums in this play-based class! Be ready to get down, and maybe a little dirty, as you play and learn together!

Cantemos Juntos

11 a.m. to noon

Free

Learn music and stories in English and Spanish! Families will clap, sing, move, and groove in this weekly music class. Parents can get silly with their little ones in their native language, or learn a few new phrases. Families will take home a book and new music each week.

Lullabies with Leah

4 to 4:45 p.m.

Free to members / $19 non-members

Learn a new lullaby every week! You will be provided with words for each lullaby, its cultural history and story, and a playlist on Spotify. Learn how to use your voice with baby, no matter how tuneless you may feel. Find a new way to express yourself with music, and build a deeper relationship with Baby- and yourself.  This is a bilingual program.

Food Pantry

5 to 6 p.m.

Free You may wonder…why is a Children’s Museum running a food pantry? Because children can’t play if their caregivers can’t afford groceries.

We started the Food Pantry @CMEE during the pandemic, little did we know, that three years later CMEE would become an essential lifeline to the more than 15,000 people served since its inception.

Introduce your budding artist to the foundations of art making! Children will explore a variety of safe multisensory materials while building fine motor skills and providing opportunities for early socialization
