The Jam Session Inc. will present its fourth annual Hamptons JazzFest this summer. By partnering with venues across the Hamptons, Hamptons Jazz Fest will showcase the amazing world of jazz. Artists from around the world will enchant and mesmerize people of all ages.
Concerts will be held at Parrish Art Museum, Guild Hall, LTV, Masonic Temple, The Church, Canoe Place Inn, Bay Street Theater, and Gosman’s.
For the first time, Jazz at Lincoln Center will co-present four concerts this summer at the Parrish Art Museum. World-class jazz musicians will perform on the Mildred C. Brinn Terrace and Event Lawn.
“We are thrilled to bring Jazz at Lincoln Center to the Parrish for the first time ever. This summer series not only celebrates the rich tradition of jazz but also underscores our commitment to providing diverse cultural experiences for our community. We look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy these extraordinary musicians in our beautiful outdoor setting,” said Mónica Ramírez-Montagut, executive director of the Parrish Art Museum.
The Parrish Art Museum began collaborating with Hamptons JazzFest in the summer of 2020 by hosting outdoor concerts on the museum’s terrace to maintain socially distant programs. This summer’s presentation at the Parrish is the culmination of a multi-decade business and artistic relationship between Hamptons JazzFest Program Director and Board Member Joel Chriss and Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Claes Brondal, the executive director of Hamptons JazzFest, stated, “We at HJF mark this collaborative alliance as a high-water mark in our efforts to produce world-class jazz artists on the East End. We couldn’t be happier presenting these concerts at one of Long Island’s premier arts organizations, the Parrish Art Museum.”
