EAST END VENUES
Mashomack Preserve Manor House
Edged in white by 11 miles of coastline, Mashomack Preserve on Shelter Island is considered one of the richest habitats in the Northeast. Just 90 miles from New York City, the preserve covers more than 2,350 acres of interlacing tidal creeks, mature oak woodlands, fields, freshwater marshes and underwater lands. River otters, red foxes, wild turkeys, rare salamanders, five species of turtles and the reclusive hognose snake all call Mashomack home. The preserve has 10 miles of public-use trails, and we offer more than 80 educational programs there each year.
