East End Hospice is Eastern Long Island’s only independent, not for-profit hospice provider, and Long Island’s only 5-star hospice according to quality and caregiver satisfaction data compiled by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.EEH earned hospice accreditation in 1991, and provides home hospice, inpatient care at our Kanas Center for Hospice Care – the East End’s only dedicated hospice facility – and grief and bereavement therapy. We care for more than 800 patients, support caregivers and families, and offer grief and bereavement programming to more than 300+ individuals each year, at no cost.
