At the recent Press Club of Long Island Media Awards, held in June, James Lane Post took home the second-place award for Best Magazine. The Press Club of Long Island is a chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Ty Wenzel and Jessica Mackin-Cipro won second place for Best Use of Newsletters, and Ty Wenzel won third place for Website Home Page Design.
Heather Buchanan won first place for Humor Narrative for the column Kiss & Tell: Crushing AI With My Quill Pen. The column also recently won second place for Best Humor Column from the National Association of Press Women.
Bridget LeRoy won third place for Arts Narrative for the article “The Sculls Were No Angels: The Patron Saints, And Sinners, Of Pop Art” and second place for Food & Beverage Narrative for the article “The Biography Of A Chocolate Cake.”
Kurt Wenzel won second place for Travel Narrative for the article Madrid — A Life Lesson.
