Stella Flame Gallery in Bridgehampton hosts Maison Irfē’s Hamptons’ fragrance launch in conjunction with Wendy Brandes’ “Man Eater” Trunk Show Exhibition and Sale, beginning with a champagne launch party and reception on Friday, July 12, from 5 to 7 PM. There will be music by TWILO.
Celebrating its centennial and its Hamptons’ fragrance launch, Maison Irfē was founded 100 years ago by the niece and nephew of a Russian Tsar. In 2008, after the Maison had languished for decades, Olga Sorokina, a Russian model, began to work with and revive Maison Irfē with a series of highly successful couture gowns and, recently, a new fragrance collection.
As Stella Flame notes, “The Maison’s story is one that’s chic and involves high fashion, beauty, drama, and, of course, a love story – Olga’s fragrances reflect it all!”
Wendy Brandes likes to tell stories of fascinating women using precious metals and gemstones. Blackened gold, smudged platinum, moving parts, and hidden engravings and gems are all signature design elements of her award-winning, one-of-a-kind, and limited-edition pieces.
A portion of the proceeds from the opening evening will benefit The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation.
