Barbara Strong Borsack will discuss her new children’s book, “Keeping the Montauk Light” on August 7 at 1 PM at the East Hampton Historical Farm Museum on North Main and Cedar Street in East Hampton.
Barbara’s fourth great grandfather, Captain James G. Scott was the Keeper of the Light from 1885 to 1910. The book is illustrated by Teresa Lawler of Montauk. Author and illustrator will discuss the book and the process of developing a children’s book based on local history.
Books will be available for sale, and donations to the Farm Museum are appreciated.
