The North Fork TV Festival will have Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer kick-off this year’s festival as a special guest bartender at the festival’s opening night happy hour at the Sound View Hotel in Greenport on the evening of Friday, November 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Grammer’s Faith American Brewery will be serving a selection of its beers throughout the evening for attendees.
The following day the festival will host an exclusive brunch event “Frasier: The Next Chapter Begins – A Conversation with Tom Russo.” The “Frasier” Emmy-nominated executive producer will participate in a Q & A about the Emmy-winning series’ return to television this fall. The event will take place at 11 AM at the Sound View Hotel in Greenport on Saturday, November 18, and will include an episode screening of the Paramount+ original series which premiered on October 12.
The North Fork TV Festival is a celebration of independent scripted television and provides a platform for emerging creators. There will be in-person screenings of the Independent Script & TV Pilot Competition winners, which received hundreds of submissions, the most in the festival’s history. This year’s festival will also honor Emmy Award-winning actress Carrie Preston with the 2023 Canopy Award the evening of November 18 at Borghese Vineyards in Cutchogue.
