Light The Way Night Walk For i-tri

What if every girl could shine? That’s the mission of i-tri, an East End nonprofit that teaches young girls that they are capable, brave, and strong through the sport of triathlon.

i-tri is aiming to raise funds to bring their award-winning empowerment program to 200 or more girls this season, providing the opportunity for every girl to shine. The visionary leader, Theresa Roden, and her passionate team and board members will be kicking off their first live event with a family-centric stroll through Sag Harbor Village followed by a tasteful experience with participating restaurants on October 27 at 6 PM.

“Light the Way Night Walk” is an opportunity for community members to come together and experience how i-tri girls learn to shine their light and become capable, brave, and strong. The night walk will begin in front of Matriark at 6 PM and end at the historic windmill, where community members will have the opportunity to learn more about i-tri’s inspirational practices, shine brighter, and dine for a cause. Participants will light up the night in i-tri fashion with glow sticks and light-up buttons as they parade down Main Street, making new connections and spreading awareness for the organization.

After the walk, participants, friends, and family are encouraged to dine at participating restaurants. Each will be giving a percentage of their featured dish of the night to the organization. Kpasa will be shining its light on a featured item from 7 to 9 PM. Lulu’s Kitchen will be spotlighting its signature heirloom cauliflower from 5 to 9 PM. Lil Birdie will be shining its light on the O.G. sandwich all day. Sen will feature edamame from 7 to 9 PM.
