Long Island Game Farm Dedicates Woodland Hall In Honor Of NYPD Sergeant Paul Ferrara

In honor of NYPD Sergeant Paul Ferrara, Long Island Game Farm held a special ceremony to dedicate Woodland Hall to the longtime supporter and lifetime member of the farm.

Having spent countless days at the farm with his wife, Kerrie, and his son, Paul Jr., Ferrara shared a love of wildlife. It is in his honor that Woodland Hall will be the site of the game farm’s presentations and programming that connect people with animals and the environment. The dedication ceremony was held on Friday, May 5, and included comments from Long Island Game Farm president Melinda Novak, Kerrie Ferrara, Town of Brookhaven Supervisor Edward P. Romaine, Suffolk County Legislator Al Krupski, and members of the NYPD.

Also in attendance were Paul’s son, Paul, Jr., Town of Brookhaven Councilman Daniel Pancio, and Catherine Stark from the Suffolk County Legislature.
