Movies on Main will return to Main Beach in East Hampton on Saturday, May 22, with a series of family friendly films. The first is a screening of Disney’s “Moana.”
The film tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a chief of a Polynesian village, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with the goddess Te Fiti. When a blight strikes her island, Moana sets sail in search of Maui, a legendary demigod, in the hope of returning the relic to Te Fiti and saving her people.
Screenings take place at 8:30 PM and the cost is $40 per car. The series will continue with “The Incredibles II” on June 12 and “The Lego Movie” on June 26.
The series is hosted by Discover The Hamptons, Discover Long Island, East Hampton Chamber of Commerce, James Lane Post, and McKenna Interactive Media.
