Imagine Swimming, Inc., the operator of the Sarah and Maurice Iudicone Aquatic Center at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center, has announced the new Aquatic Center’s opening.

The new 8,355 sq. ft. Aquatic Center features two pools for programming, instruction, and recreation. This includes a 25-yard-long, four-lane lap fitness pool for swimming, instruction, and training, and a 32-foot-by-33-foot shallow, warmer-temperature pool for rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, and instructional swimming, ideal for infants, toddlers, and seniors.

The pool will be open for previews from December 17 to 20, December 26 and 27, and January 2 and 3, with opportunities for lap swimming, family swim, and swimming lessons on a drop-in basis. The soft launch schedule will begin on Wednesday, January 7. The pool will be open four days per week, Wednesdays through Saturdays. Slated to begin in February, the pool will expand its operation to six days per week, and regular membership rates will apply.
