A new commercial building is currently under construction in Quogue Village at 164 Jessup Avenue on the corner of Quogue Street. Designed to fit thoughtfully into the vernacular of the town, architect Pamela Glazer expanded the footprint of the existing commercial building’s property by situating a twin building next door joined by an arcade.
“It’s been a great honor to design the first new building in Quogue Village in many years,” said Pamela Glazer. “The response has been excellent, with many noting that the design fits seamlessly into the community.”
The 3,489 square foot space will offer four retail units and one large second-floor office space with a new stair tower that includes an elevator to meet ADA requirements. A parking area in the back has 29 spaces. The tenants on the second floor of the existing building can use a bridge to the arcade to access the elevator. Construction is expected to be completed by May 2025.
