Celebrating 20 years, Organización Latino Americana of Eastern Long Island held Sabor, a cocktail benefit, to raise funds towards building a safer, healthier, and more equitable East End community for Latino individuals on Thursday, July 28. The event was chaired by April Gornik.
Founded in 2002, OLA of Eastern Long Island advocates for Latino immigrants by pushing for inclusive government and school policies, protecting families, and nurturing power and unity among Latino individuals through workshops and programs. The benefit event featured tapas from Coche Comedor, food prepared by Chef Juan Juárez, sultry music by Latin Moon, and Mezcal from Dos Hombres.
