The Parrish Art Museum will hold its eighth annual Summer Family Party benefit on premises on Sunday, August 21, from 3 to 6 PM.
The Parrish Art Museum is a center for cultural engagement that fosters connections among individuals, art, and artists through care and interpretation of the collection, presentation of exhibitions, publications, educational initiatives, programs, and artists-in-residence. Its Summer Family Party benefits the Museum’s year-round initiatives.
The event features art workshops for children, a thrilling performance and workshops with the National Circus Project, games on the lawn, classic summer fare, and an ice cream truck. The event will be catered by Elegant Affairs and food will be served buffet-style. Guests are invited to explore the beautiful Impressionist and abstract garden paintings in the exhibition “Joaquín Sorolla and Esteban Vicente: In the Light of the Garden,” view the exhibition “Another Justice: US is Them—Hank Willis Thomas | For Freedoms,” which features work by 12 contemporary artists, and view outdoor sculptures on the Museum grounds.
