Writer and editor Bob Colacello will hold a signing of his book of photographs, “It Just Happened,” and a brief talk at the Peter Marino Art Foundation in Southampton.
In addition, 30 black and white photographs taken by Colacello, most of them vintage and one-of-a-kind, will be exhibited and available for purchase in the Foundation book shop for a limited time.
Colacello was raised in Plainview, Long Island and was the editor of Andy Warhol’s art, film, and fashion magazine Interview Magazine for 12 years. The photographs featured in “It Just Happened” chronicle his time in this position during the late seventies and early eighties, from his personal album taken on a tiny Minox camera.
