Quogue Wildlife Refuge Presents Winter Wildlife Camp

Quogue Wildlife Refuge presents a Winter Wildlife Camp, which will take place Tuesday to Friday, February 22 to 25, 9 AM to noon, during Winter Break.

Come to the Refuge to experience wildlife, education, and fun. Each day will include a hike, a craft, and meeting animals. The program will include lots of outdoor exploration, and the indoor Nature Center may be utilized, with masks required indoors.

Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a 305-acre expanse of protected land, with more than seven miles of hiking trails that include a variety of habitats, such as the Pine Barrens, bogs, wetlands, a field, and a tidal estuary. Its mission is to serve as a responsible land steward of the Refuge property and its natural resources, while promoting, implementing and supporting environmental education.

Parents should dress children in warm winter layers and send an individual snack and drink in reusable containers each day. The cost is $300 for the four-day program.
