Renowned musicians Rachael & Vilray are set to embark on an extraordinary musical journey for one night only, captivating audiences with their enchanting blend of jazz, swing, and timeless melodies on August 6 at 8 PM in the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center’s Mollie Parnis Auditorium.
“This unique musical partnership pushes the boundaries of jazz and swing while delivering an unforgettable performance from two acclaimed musicians,” said WHBPAC Executive Director Julienne Penza-Boone. The duo is touring in support of their newly released album, “I Love a Love Song!,” from Nonesuch Records.
Rachael Price, known for her soulful and mesmerizing voice, gained prominence as the lead vocalist of the critically acclaimed band Lake Street Dive. Vilray is a composer and performer from Brooklyn whose original compositions recall the jazz and theatrical songwriters of Tin Pan Alley and authors of The Great American Songbook.
Drawing inspiration from jazz legends of the past while adding their own modern twist, Rachael & Vilray breathe new life into classic tunes and present original compositions that are both timeless and contemporary.
