Recette, a new children’s tableware line, celebrated its launch with an intimate backyard gathering at founder Rachel Wexler’s Southampton home. Guests previewed Recette’s beautifully designed, plant-based plates and bowls, stainless steel utensils, and silicone placemats — products made to bring peace of mind, ease, and joy to everyday family meals and casual entertaining.

Guests included Hamptons-based founders and creatives such as Stephanie Gottlieb, Zara Tisch (Terez), Meredith Shumway, Amanda Freeman (SLT), Hilary Matt (Hilary Matt Interiors), Alex Toccin (Toccin), and Elana Karp and Suzanne Dumaine (Stocked by Three Owls).

Founded in 2025 by Rachel Wexler, a former fashion founder (Black Iris) and mom, Recette was born from a desire to create safe, stylish, and functional tableware for kids.

“What started as a personal frustration with the clutter and concerns around kids’ products turned into a deep dive into material science, sustainability, and design,” said Wexler. “When I couldn’t find the tableware I wanted for my children, I decided to create it.”
