Roasted Acorn Squash With Butter & Sage

Ingredients

1 acorn squash

2 Tbsp coconut palm sugar

3 Tbsp butter

8 sage leaves

Sea Salt

Black Pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cut acorn squash into .5 inch slices and place on baking sheet
  3. In a sauce pan, melt the butter over low heat, add the coconut palm sugar and 3 sage leaves.
  4. Once melted, pour over the squash.
  5. Add sea salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Mix together and add 5 sage leaves to the top of your dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
