We’ve compiled a few ways to celebrate Halloween on the East End.
Enjoy a spellbinding Halloween Party at Calissa in Water Mill on Saturday, October 28. Calissa will conjure up a night of eerie delights with special treats, a spine-tingling live music set from DJ Hugo beginning at 9 PM, and bewitching decor. Guests are encouraged to arrive in costume and join in the fun with an open bar package priced at $50 that includes house wines, beer, standard spirits and some special cocktails at the bar between 9 PM and 11 PM and a full menu of a la carte seasonally special Greek offerings.
Solé East in Montauk invites all monsters, ghouls, witches and ghosts to celebrate Halloween in The Backyard to mark their 2023 season’s end on Saturday, October 28, beginning at 8 PM. Claudio’s Waterfront in Greenport will be hosting a “Spooktacular Halloween Costume Party” on Saturday, October 28, from 9 PM to 1:30 AM. The evening will feature DJ Phil spinning tunes, a costume contest complete with fun prizes and buy one get one peach White Claws and $5 drafts of Eastern Front Brew.
Southold’s Sparkling Pointe winery and Disset Chocolate are teaming up to create a “Hallo-Wine” event on Sunday, October 29, from 11 AM to 4:30 PM, featuring Sparkling Pointe’s Cuvée Carnaval sparkling wines and artisanal truffles by Disset Chocolate. Enjoy tastings of all three Cuvée Carnaval label bubblies alongside s’mores-inspired chocolate creations designed specifically to pair with the wines. Reservations can be made on Resy.
The Southampton Arts Center presents a Halloween Silent Disco on Saturday, October 28, at 7 PM. Come dance at this outrageously fun (and quiet) rave featuring DJ’s and multiple music genres. Quiet Events provides their three-channel LED-style headphones allowing guests to change channels to different types of music. Headphones light up with colors assigned to each channel so dancers can see what others are listening to based on the color of their headphones.
K Pasa in Sag Harbor will host a Pirate Party on Thursday, October 26, from 9 PM to 1 AM. There will be a prize for the best costume.
The Halyard Restaurant in Greenport will host its annual Halloween party on Saturday, October 28, from 9 PM to midnight. There will be a costume contest with music by DJ Chilly. VIP tickets are $75 in advance and offer an open bar and late night snacks. General admission is $25 in advance or $35 at the door.
It’s Spooky Sunday at Meadowlark in Cutchogue on Sunday, October 29, from 12 to 6 PM. There will be music by Acoustic Soul from 2 to 4 PM and food from Rolling Gold Pizza, Peeko Oysters, and The Treatery Dessert Truck.
The Church in Sag Harbor presents Monster Smash on Saturday, October 28, from 5 to 7 PM. This year’s theme is “The Sporting Life!” The church is calling all witches and warlocks on the East End to “come as you aren’t” to The Church’s annual fall fundraiser, a Halloween dance party. Dance to music from Mister Lama. Enjoy some light bites from a festive grazing table prepared by East Hampton Kitchen with wine sponsored by Channing Daughters Winery. The theme is inspired by the Church’s summer exhibition Strike Fast, Dance Lightly: Artists on Boxing and the fall exhibition RE:CYCLE– The Ubiquitous Bike.
