The Hampton Ballet Theatre School Presents ‘Cinderella’

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School will present its comic Spring ballet “Cinderella” on Friday, May 12 at 7 PM, Saturday, May 13, at 1 and 7 PM, and Sunday, May 14, at 2 PM at the Bridgehampton School Theater, 2685 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton.

Cinderella, danced to Sergei Prokoviev’s score, is choreographed by Sara Jo Strickland, director of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School, with costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera and Kate McManus and lighting designed by Sebastian Paczynski.

HBTS’ Senior Professional Level 8 students will all be dancing lead roles. Molly Radice will dance the role of Cinderella, while Sadie Radice and Lua Li will be sharing the roles of the Fairy Godmother and the Winter Fairy. James Monroe Stevko will dance the role of Prince Charming as HBTS’ professional guest artist.

The evil Stepmother will be portrayed by Kate Johnston and the comic Stepsisters are played by Leila Genender and Shilo McCarthy, all three dancers in Professional Level 7 at HBTS. Nicholas Peregrino, also an HBTS guest artist, will portray Cinderella’s henpecked father.
