The Montauk Beach House is hosting two art exhibitions this month.
The first, “Mind-Body Dualism” by Ruvan Wijesooriya, on view June 16 to 20, intertwines mental and physical domains through abstract photography. A part of its sales will support AWOW, a charity offering surf therapy to children with special needs.
The second, “Abstract Syntax: A New Visual Vocabulary” by David Stein is on view June 23 to 26. The show presents a unique visual language using abstracted geometric symbols. Some of the proceeds will be donated to Montauk Skate Park.
