The Retreat To Host Annual Golf Outing At Atlantic Golf Club

The Retreat will host its annual Golf Outing at Atlantic Golf Club in Bridgehampton on Monday, September 23. The event will honor Len Scioscia, president of the Northeast Region of Epic Brokers, this year.

“Mr. Scioscia has been part of the East End community for nearly 40 years,” said Loretta Davis, Executive Director of the Retreat. “While he is a leader in his industry, he has been committed to our community and, specifically, through Epic, supported The Retreat for many years. Mr. Scioscia makes both a personal and a corporate commitment to giving back to the communities he serves.”

The Retreat’s Golf Outing starts at 9 AM with registration, coffee, and light breakfast, followed by a shotgun start at 10:30 AM. Golfers will enjoy the Rees Jones-designed course, featuring rolling hills, tall fescue, and ever-changing sea breezes. The Atlantic Golf Club provides an experience to test golf’s greats, yet it is still fun for golfers of any skill level.

Throughout the day, golfers can participate in contests, including Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Beat the Pro, featuring professional golfer and UCF Challenge champion Anna Nordfors. Afterward, players can unwind at the clubhouse with an open bar, dinner, and a live wine and golf auction.

“This golf outing is the final event of The Retreat season,” said Steve Maietta, Retreat Golf Committee Chair. “Each event makes a significant contribution to the programs and services of The Retreat. Golf on the East End is priceless, and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to play the beautiful Atlantic Golf Club. For me, nothing is better than a round of fall golf on an esteemed course to benefit an important organization making a difference in people’s lives.”
