‘The Tents’ Showcased Fashion, Entertainment, Fine Art, Musicians, & More In Southampton

The second annual FATA Fund Inc. fundraising event, in collaboration with theSIPnyc, took place at Agawam Park in Southampton from September 20 to 21. Hosted by Mark MK, “The Tents” showcased an array of fashion, entertainment, fine art, artisans, spoken word, emerging musicians, and more.

On opening night, comedian A.G. White opened the event at the Southampton Cultural Center. The next day, spin master FUNKFLEX showcased his skills outdoors, flanked by vendors on each side of the stage.

The Tents fashion show featured a presentation of sustainability, which creatively transitioned used synthetic fabrics into party wear. Attendees were also given a sneak peek of Carol Maraj’s Couture Collection. Also featured was the Indigenous Cultural Collection from designer Kayla Lookinghorse from the Shinnecock Reservation in Southampton.
