The White Room Gallery in East Hampton presents “Through The Looking Glass.” An opening reception will be held on Saturday, June 22, from 5 to 7 PM.
The exhibit features the art of Italian Vogue Photographer Greg Lotus.
“Drawing inspiration from classical paintings and a wide array of sources and life experiences, Lotus reinterprets in his own evocative way the use of light and shadow, playing with angles and composition to enhance the graphic quality of his images,” read a curator statement from owners Andrea McCafferty and Kat O’Neill.
Also opening at the White Room Gallery in The Black Room is pop artist John Joseph Hanright.
“Hanright is a painter and assemblage artist who brings together a combination of vintage pieces from the ‘40s, ‘50s, and early ‘60s alongside contemporary imagery to form paintings that reflect on history while commenting on current times,” said Andrea McCafferty + Kat O’Neill.
