VAVRA New York is coming to the Hamptons this summer as part of Project Hamptons weekend trunk shows.
After spending two decades as head of press and celebrity relations for Dior Beauty in New York City, owner Dianne Vavra followed her dream of opening a shop featuring her two great loves: vintage jewels and handbags, alongside her favorite beauty brands. VAVRA New York opened in Huntington a year ago.
Dianne’s vintage collection consists of pieces from New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London and all the places she traveled to during her Dior days. Her love of vintage goes back to her high school days in the ’80s when she worked in the client service department at Sotheby’s.
She was completely obsessed with the jewelry auctions and since she couldn’t afford the Van Cleef, Cartier, or Winston’s, she began collecting vintage and never looked back. She has catalogued over 900 pieces.
VAVRA New York will be at Project Hamptons in Bridgehampton June 30 to July 2, July 28 to 30, and August 25 to 27.
