The Watermill Center presents Viewpoints — a conversation series that engages the community through dialogue, artist talks, and lectures — with an online discussion with Afua Ansong on Wednesday, December 1, at 5:30 PM.
Ansong is Ghanaian American writer, scholar, and artist. Her work displays the challenges of the African immigrant in the United States, and explores themes of transition, citizenship, and blackness. She recently completed her MFA in Creative Writing & Literature at Stony Brook University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in English Literature at the University of Rhode Island.
