Wölffer Estate Vineyard has launched Spring in a Bottle, a non-alcoholic, low-calorie sparkling rosé blooms with a rich, refreshing, and cleansing taste profile that embodies everything that wine drinkers love about drinking wine.
In true Wölffer style, the bottle emulates pastel watercolor tones, displaying the fun and whimsical spirit of the Hamptons. The rosé brings forth a bright rich rose hue and delivers fine earthy notes to the palette with wonderful red berry fruit and ripe peach, pear notes and is low in calories. The blend of pinot noir, merlot and saint laurent varietals is sourced from a certified organic vineyard in Rheinhessen, Germany. The wine was then de-alcoholized by gently removing the alcohol and other volatiles at a relatively low temperature of only 77°F. Co-owner Marc Wölffer, who has been the driving force of this project, says “At Wölffer Estate, we like to be ahead of the curve and a leader in style.” In partnership with co-owner Joey Wölffer, they are able to take risks and try new things.
“As the industry trends towards producing more alcohol-free varieties, it’s time for an option that doesn’t mean sacrificing taste” stated Winemaker and Partner Roman Roth. “The world of non-alcoholic beverages has grown vastly for those who want options. This holistic approach to ‘everything in moderation’ is what differs from other sugary non-alcoholic wines on the market.”
The wine is priced at $18 for 750 ml bottle.
