An opening reception for “Women’s Work” at Oscar Molina Gallery in Southampton will be held on Saturday, March 18, from 5 to 7 PM.
From the sublime to the divine — this new exhibition celebrates Women’s History with art made by a diverse group of female artists. On view will be 17 artists and 17 points of view, displayed through conceptual multimedia, painting, etching, sculpture, and photography. Climate change, girlhood, travels of the mind, and tongue in cheek commentary are just a few of the themes represented.
Exhibiting artists include Kelynn Alder, Adriana Barone, Arta Brito, Isadora Capraro, Darlene Charneco, Lucy Cookson, Mona Dworkin, Allison Eden, Teresa Eguibar, Camille Feinberg, Anna Jurinich, Sally Lelong, Veronica Mezzina, Erica Morales, Diane Sjoholm, Diane Tuft, and Suzanne Wetanson. The show is curated by Mago and Karin Greene.
An artists’ panel discussion will be held on Saturday, April 8, from 5 to 7 PM.
