The HUB and Art Hampton are joining forces to present “A New Beginning,” a month-long, multi-artist exhibition opening Friday, September 18, and running through October 18, at The HUB in Bridgehampton. Framed around the theme “Where Seasons Change,” the show brings together 26 artists just as summer turns to fall.
The exhibition opens with a public reception on Friday, September 18, from 5 to 8 PM at The HUB in Bridgehampton with catering by Whale’s Tale Bar Taco + Grill.
“A New Beginning” was built through a partnership between Michael Catalano of The HUB and Ryan Zwick of Art Hampton, who share an interest in creating a gathering place where art, business, hospitality, and the East End community intersect. For Catalano, opening The HUB to a large-scale art exhibition extends the venue’s role as a meeting point for the Bridgehampton community while giving artists access to a new audience. For Zwick, the collaboration continues Art Hampton’s broader effort to connect artists with unconventional venues, businesses, and collectors throughout the Hamptons.
“What makes this exciting is that it isn’t just Art Hampton coming into a space and putting artwork on the walls. Michael and The HUB are part of what we’re building here. The goal is to create something that feels connected to Bridgehampton and gives artists another meaningful place to be seen,” said Ryan Zwick.
“The HUB is about bringing people together, and art is naturally part of that conversation. Working with Art Hampton gives us an opportunity to introduce the community to a wide range of artists while creating another reason for people to gather here,” said Michael Catalano.
“A New Beginning” will feature work by Connie Cortese, Youngest Waffle, Brian Drost, Soul Face, Michael Flomen, Ken Hansen, 42170, Sam Clermont, Robert Singer, NathanDET, Roger Sichel, Anton Connolly, Sebastian Mopa, Faris Saleh, Leila Pinto, Peter Robert Keil, Eve B, Greg Weinstein, Andy Barry, Rocco Liccardi, Sculpt Hamptons, Iris Dankner, Bob Carey, Rosalind Brenner, Michael Cardacino, and Michael Brongspigel.
