The Bridge X, presented by Mercedes-Benz USA, returns to the historic grounds of the former Bridgehampton Race Circuit on Saturday, September 19, marking a decade of the by-invitation gathering that has become one of the most eagerly awaited events in the automotive world. Across the fairways of The Bridge golf club, some of the world’s most coveted and rarely seen vehicles will once again be assembled in an artful display, drawn from some of the finest private collections worldwide.
The Bridge X celebrates the Hamptons’ deep ties to racing, honoring Bridgehampton’s racing past. It is one of the few events of its kind held on the grounds of a historic racing circuit. Designed by Grumman engineers and built in 1957 across more than 500 acres overlooking Peconic Bay, the original circuit was conceived as a response to New York’s ban on racing on public roads and quickly became an icon of post-war American motorsport.
By the early 1970s, the property was nearly lost to development until co-founder Robert Rubin stepped in to preserve the land and later establish The Bridge golf club on the site. This history inspired the event a decade ago and is still evident throughout the grounds, where The Bridge upholds its tradition of visual storytelling.
The event is a collaboration between Rubin, Shamin Abas, President of Shamin Abas Associates, and Jeffrey Einhorn, a Manhattan-based attorney and longtime car collector.
“This property has meant something to car people for a long time. All the greats of the era raced here: Gurney, Andretti, Moss, McLaren, Hansgen, Shelby, Hulme, Rodriguez, Surtees… it’s a long list,” said Rubin. “As we mark ten years of The Bridge, I look around and see people who were here in the sixties standing next to people who weren’t even born when this was still a viable racetrack. That history feels more alive than ever. That’s the thing I’m most proud of.”
The milestone also arrives in a landmark year for the presenting sponsor. In 2026, Mercedes-Benz celebrates its 140th anniversary, marking 140 years since Carl Benz filed the patent for the first automobile in 1886. At this year’s event, attendees can explore “Lines of Motion,” an art installation highlighting 140 years of Mercedes-Benz through a bold landscape of color, form, and movement.

Inspired by a legacy of innovation, the installation transforms The Bridge Pro Shop exterior into a large-scale composition of alternating bands of rich color that extend across the architecture, onto the ground, and to the curated selection of vehicles. Mercedes-Benz has led for over a century with innovative tech, distinctive design, and a commitment to creating the world’s most desirable vehicles. At The Bridge X, color visually represents this spirit with a rhythm that evokes movement and progress, reflecting ongoing innovation since 1886.
This color line continues in this year’s iteration, returning to themes that have become The Bridge’s signature, including its now-famous color groupings: white Porsche 911 RSs spanning every generation, and Ferraris finished in unique shades of green. They will be joined by American performance icons, modern super- and hypercars, and vintage European sports cars from the most storied marques in motoring, alongside the finest Mercedes-Benz sports cars, both vintage and modern, running the gamut from multiple 300 SLs to the Mercedes-AMG ONE. The Bridge will also introduce, for the first time, a vignette evoking a classic drive-in movie theater, replete with popcorn supplied by The Hangar Group.

Joining Mercedes-Benz USA this year are returning and new partners from across the automotive, timepiece, fashion, and lifestyle realms. Volvo will debut the new all-electric EX60, introduced with a live performance by renowned pianist and composer Chloe Flower, giving guests the first opportunity to experience the vehicle in person. The marque will also present models spanning decades, from the 1957 PV444E and 1972 P1800E to the 1995 850 T-5R, 2026 XC90 T8, and 2027 EX60.
Ferrari North America will present a curated display of the marque’s vehicles on the croquet lawn. Spyker makes its Bridge debut with the C8 Preliator XXV, the Dutch marque’s limited-edition, nonhybrid supercar, following its global debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week. FariCars will showcase a curated selection of its luxury vehicle conversions.
Breguet will bring a working atelier to The Bridge, where a Master Guillocheur will demonstrate and teach the art of Guilloché on an antique rose-engine machine, alongside live movement assembly and disassembly by a Master Watchmaker. Timepieces on view will include the world-first magnetic escapement of the Experimentale 1, the GPHG-winning Souscription 2025BH, six new tourbillon models marking 225 years since Breguet invented the complication, and historic automotive timepieces created for the Bugatti Royale and Lamborghini Diablo.
Twisted Automotive will present two bespoke classic Land Rover Defenders, each handcrafted over 2,500 hours and finished in event-exclusive colorways, including Hyperion Blue. The marque will also preview its 500-horsepower TRRC through a precision scale model ahead of the vehicle’s full-scale U.S. debut in October. Expedition Motor Company returns with a frame-off restoration of the Mercedes-Benz 250GD Wolf, rebuilt from European military service over more than 2,500 manhours and powered by a 430-horsepower LS3 V8.
The gathering will also take to the skies as Blade, a Joby Company, will present a full-scale model of Joby’s S4 electric aircraft alongside a dedicated on-site lounge, while Pivotal will take flight over the grounds with demonstrations of its Electric Aircraft.

Aston Martin will present two bespoke vehicles at the event; Luminari Motor Company will debut its newest model, the SLV63, which the marque has coined the “Rolling Trunk,” and The Twenty Five will showcase a simulator experience of its one-of-a-kind Seaglider. Motor Club New York joins for the first time, bringing the spirit of its clubhouse to the top of the 18th hole. The exclusive pop-up bar and lounge will mirror the atmosphere, hospitality, and character of the club, featuring signature cocktails, espresso, and a curated cigar experience, all designed to give guests a true taste of Motor Club New York, while Merrill, a Bank of America Company, returns with a refined on-site lounge.
Mytheresa arrives as the event’s exclusive luxury fashion partner, curating an immersive men’s lounge that celebrates the intersection of fashion, craftsmanship, and luxury lifestyle, with a curated edit of luxury menswear alongside bespoke tailoring, shoe shining, and premium cigars.
Moët Hennessy joins as the event’s exclusive Wine & Spirits partner, serving specialty cocktails throughout the event, while BonBon will serve hot dogs and candy from its own Swedish-inspired stand.
To mark a decade, The Bridge will introduce a limited-edition capsule collection of merchandise for men and women, along with a special anniversary book tracing the history of the site and the event. Both will be available for purchase at The Bridge X.
True to its founders’ intent, The Bridge crowns no winners and hands out no trophies, instead offering a setting where design, engineering, and cultural relevance can speak for themselves.
The Bridge weekend continues Sunday, September 20, beginning with Cars & Coffee, presented by 1600 Veloce, at The Bridgehampton Museum from 9 AM to 11 AM.
