CMEE Ladies Night To Benefit Food Pantry

The Children’s Museum of the East End will present the return of its annual Summer Ladies Night on Tuesday, July 13, at 6 PM at a private residence in Sag Harbor. The event is co-presented by luxury outerwear brand MARFA STANCE, and all money raised during the evening will directly benefit local mothers and the families being nourished by the CMEE Food Pantry.

“We’re grateful to Barrie Glabman, MARFA STANCE, and our amazing host committee for helping us bring back one of CMEE’s most popular fundraisers,” said Steve Long, the museum’s president. “We look forward to a fun and fashionable evening, but, more importantly, this event will allow us to continue serving families who are continuing to struggle because of the COVID crisis.”

Guests attending will delight in sipping on summer wines and noshing scrumptious hors d’oeuvres while mingling at a gorgeous residence offering stunning views of Sag Harbor Cove. The night will also feature the opportunity to learn more about the new luxury outerwear brand MARFA STANCE.

The event is hosted by fashion stylist Lisa Frolich, interior designer Barrie Glabman, Peace Project founder Aima Raza, NY Times best-selling author Wednesday Martin, Peloton coach Kristin McGee, retail entrepreneur Lizzie Tisch, and fashion influencer Mary Wassner.

Since the start of the pandemic, CMEE has dedicated much of its efforts to meeting the needs of the East End’s most vulnerable — distributing food to more than 1,000 families in the community.

“We’ve always been impressed by the CMEE’s mission to spark imagination and foster learning for children of all backgrounds and abilities,” added Georgie Dant, the founder and creative force behind MARFA STANCE, “but their support of the local community through initiatives like the food pantry makes it even that much more meaningful for us to be a part of.”

Individual tickets for the Summer Ladies Night begin at $100 and can be purchased at www.cmee.org. Residence address will be provided upon ticket purchase.
