Discover The North Fork With North Fork Sights, Bites, & Flights

As an expert on all things North Fork, I am thrilled to announce the arrival of a unique and exciting tour company that aims to redefine how visitors experience this beautiful region. North Fork Sights, Bites, and Flights, the brainchild of Eric Deschamps and Maggie Loukatos, promises to deliver curated, unforgettable experiences that showcase the very best of what the North Fork has to offer.

Eric and Maggie, both native Long Islanders and long-time North Fork residents, bring a wealth of local knowledge and a deep passion for the region to their new venture. “We have spent countless summers exploring the hidden gems of this beautiful area,” they shared. “Between the two of us, we’ve witnessed the growth of the East End’s entrepreneurial spirit firsthand and deeply admire the new, sustainable, and privately owned ventures that have sprouted up over the years.”

Their love for the North Fork’s charming specialty shops, picturesque farms, top-rated restaurants, and world-renowned wineries has led them to curate a list of their favorite destinations. With years of experience exploring the area, Eric and Maggie know exactly where to take you for the most enjoyable and memorable experiences.

North Fork Sights, Bites, and Flights offers three distinct tours: two full-day experiences and one half-day adventure, each designed to enhance your visit to the North Fork without the need for guesswork and planning. The tours feature a delightful mix of wineries, eateries, and a combination of retail, farm, and historical experiences. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, a foodie, or someone who loves to shop, there’s something for everyone.

Their offerings include:

Fine Food: Tastings and small plates at local restaurants and walk-ups.

Wineries: Wine flights and pairings with trusted wine partners.

Oyster Farming: Onsite educational classes with tastings and bubbles.

Shopping: Visits to unique specialty shops.

Cooking Class: Private farm-to-table in-kitchen experiences.

Art Galleries and Antiquing: Stops at local art galleries and antique shops.

Gourmet Chocolatier: Chocolate classes with gifts.

Walking Tour of Greenport and Southold: Visits to village businesses and the Seaport Museum.

Equestrian Experience: Horse and stable tours with mini-riding lessons.

North Fork History: Tours of lighthouses, landmarks, and points of interest.

Sunset Finish: Ending the day with a beautiful sunset over Long Island Sound or Peconic Bay.

One of the standout features of North Fork Sights, Bites, and Flights is its commitment to creating a truly bespoke experience for its clients. Through the “Get in Touch” section on its website, guests can rate their preferences, allowing for a personalized tour that caters to individual tastes and interests.

The company has already noticed a trend among its guests: a love for oysters, small plates, and wine pairings, followed closely by retail therapy or “spot shopping.” The unique experiences and networking opportunities provided by connecting with local business owners, chefs, bakers, and farmers are highlights for many visitors.

Tours are designed for groups of four, with the option to add up to two additional guests for a small fee. Pickup and drop-off are available from any location on the North Fork, as well as from the Orient Point or Shelter Island Ferries, seaplane, and marine rendezvous locations.

There are options for full or half-day tours. All tours include visits to wineries, restaurants, and shops unless otherwise specified during registration.
