Coat Drive & Can Release at North Fork Brewing Co

North Fork Brewing Co in Riverhead is asking the community to help the homeless by hosting a coat drive on Saturday, January 30. The brewery is partnering with Maureen’s Haven to help support those in need.

They are asking for donations of lightly used or brand new coats, along with boots, hats, gloves, socks, underclothes, and jeans.

“Please be advised that we will have a donation box outside of the brewery this day to prevent COVID-19 transmission through any piece of clothing. We recommend placing your donation(s) in a garbage bag,” read a post from the brewery on Instagram.

North Fork Brewing will also be releasing Collaberal Damage, a traditional IPA, on the same day. It’s made in collaboration with Condzella’s Farm and Route 27 Hop Yard. The brewery will also re-release Back to the Lacto, its wild fermented kettle sour saison. Both are available in cans and on draft.

“Our friends from Mattitaco will be here, serving up scrumptious tacos and other goodies from 12-5pm” the post reads.

Reservations can be made by visiting www.northforkbrewingco.com.
