This summer, visitors to the Landcraft Garden Foundation in Mattituck will have the opportunity to experience a special exhibition of six artworks by renowned British sculptor David Harber. Set within the Foundation’s inspiring landscape, the collection will showcase a selection of David Harber’s celebrated works, known for their striking use of form, light, and reflection. The installation will create a dialogue between contemporary sculpture and the natural environment, inviting visitors to explore the gardens through a new artistic lens.

The exhibition contributes to the Landcraft Garden Foundation’s ongoing commitment to championing creativity and the connection between art and landscape. The sculptures will be on display throughout the summer season, offering visitors a unique opportunity to encounter David Harber’s work in a beautiful outdoor setting.
On display will be six artworks from David Harber’s classic collection: Flo, Armillary Sphere, Hydra, Mantle II, Obelisk and Rush. Visitors to the garden may be inspired by new ways to bring creativity and horticultural diversity to their own landscapes.

“At the Landcraft Garden, plants tell stories of exploration, adaptation, and wonder. David Harber’s sculptures add another voice to that narrative. Rising from the landscape, reflecting light, and drawing the eye through the garden, these works invite contemplation and surprise. They remind us that gardens are living works of art—places where creativity, craftsmanship, and the rhythms of nature come together to create moments of lasting beauty. Whether reflecting the changing light, echoing the forms of surrounding plants, or standing as bold architectural statements within the landscape, these works deepen our appreciation of place. They encourage us to look more closely, linger a little longer, and recognize that the most memorable gardens nourish both the imagination and the spirit,” said Dennis Schrader, President and Co-Founder of The Landcraft Garden Foundation.
