Gene Casey And The Lone Sharks Bring Their East End Sound Back To Bay Street Theater

Bay Street Theater welcomes back East End favorite Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks on Saturday, March 7, at 8 PM, for a night of roots-rock, storytelling, and road-tested American music.

A fixture of the Long Island music scene for decades, Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks have built a loyal following with high-energy live performances that blend rock, country, and Americana. The group is known for its deep connection with local audiences and shows that feel both polished and spontaneous.

Over the years, the band has played venues from Manhattan to Montauk, sharing stages with legendary artists including Wanda Jackson, The Band, Bo Diddley, Sleepy LaBeef, NRBQ, and The Ventures. Their reputation for dynamic, crowd-pleasing performances has made them a staple of the East End music scene. Gene Casey received the Long Island Sound Award from the Long Island Music Hall of Fame for his lasting contributions to Long Island’s musical landscape.

Most recently, Casey joined Nancy Atlas on the Bay Street stage for a sold-out Fireside Sessions performance in January. Casey’s music is rooted in the kind of storytelling and live-room energy that pairs perfectly with a relaxed pre-show atmosphere. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy Bay Street Theater’s full lobby bar before the performance begins.

Tickets are available at baystreet.org.
